The 39 cm tall nutcracker impresses with its many loving details. The nutcracker is carefully handcrafted from head to toe. Up to 60 individual parts and approx. 160 this colorful nutcracker is created by the hands of the employees. Historical details about the nutcracker
The nutcracker drummer carries his most important utensil, the drum,on a belt at his hip.The drum is set in gold and decorated with blue and white triangles. In his hands he holds the drumsticks, so that you can almost hear the loud sounds. His uniform consists of a red and white jacket. The white trousers are tucked into black-laced boots. The black hat is decorated with a red feather, a golden star and a cord.
Cracking Nuts
The large mouth with white teeth is covered by the gray beard, which is the same color as the hair. The mouth can be opened with the lever on the back. Even if it could still crack nuts, nowadays the nutcracker is often only used as a purely decorative object.
